The article presents information on a program developed by MedStar Health to improve job satisfaction in the hospital system in 2002. The health system created a branding and communications program called MedStar's Total Rewards, which uses learning sessions, one-on-one dialogues, scripts and q-cards to educate employees about all aspects of their compensation.
