ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of same-store sales of retailers in the United States for March 2006. Same-store sales has increased by 2.7 percent during the second week of March, according to Johnson Redbook Index. A sales increase of 3.1 percent has been registered by mass merchants. Meanwhile, department store sales has improved by 2.0 percent.
