ABSTRACT
The article reports on the investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about the allegations of an extensive kickback scheme involved in the construction of the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court complex in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The FBI were looking for documentation in relation to the construction of the courthouse and asked Judge Judith K. Nakamura on the process of awarding the construction contracts on the courthouse and parking garage.
