ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase of the production index of Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing for January 2006 in the U.S. The rise of the Federal Reserve Board's industrial production index for manufacturing is discussed. Thus, the overall output in the region for January has increased as compared with the national output in that period.
