Novell boosts its Linux desktop

The article reports on the plan of Novell Inc. to update the features of its new SuSe Linux Enterprise Desktop product in the U.S. The company has planned to include features for the product such as an integrated desktop search tool called Beagle, support for Visual Basic macros, support for the OpenDocument format, XGL graphics, and better support for standard network and printing protocols. This desktop product has been integrated with Novell ZEN Linux Management, which provides an automated remote management. Its has been the first Linux desktop product which is appropriate for workers who need access to a variety of applications and data types.
