This article reports on the awards received by Derek Moore, senior vice president-executive creative director at FCB Direct in Chicago, Illinois, and his employees at the 1999 Chicago Association of Direct Marketing's Tempo. The company obtained 25 honors, more than any other agency. The winning campaigns included work for clients such as Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida and Deere & Co and were created by FCB Direct and CM Partners, which FCB acquired in January 1999. According to Moore, the melding of FCB Direct and CM Partners create one of the most powerful direct marketing creative and strategic groups.
