ABSTRACT
The article describes the security systems of Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH). The facility chose California-based PCSC as its hardware vendor. There have been many additions over the years, including a multi-used building. The contract for service of the system was originally with another company and has been put to bid. In 2005, HSM Electronic Protection Services Inc. won the contract. HSM has set up CVH campus police with eDataManager service, a real-time data management tool that allows CVH to place service requests via the Internet. Technicians may also receive requests in electronic mail format. INSET: Hot Packages.
