ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Sleep America company by Sleep Country Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario. According to Stephen Gunn, CEO of Sleep Country, remarked that the deal will have an immediate positive effect on their earnings. The transaction was fund in cash and new long-term obligation of 10 million dollars. With the deal, current plans call for Sleep America to add at least 6 stores in 2006.
