ABSTRACT
Government commissions, self-regulation, scope of practice, educational standards and public awareness are some of the areas receiving contemporary attention within the chiropractic profession. They are universal and integral elements that offer shape to the identity of a profession as it continues to flourish and develop. They are themes present at the local and national level across the globe. Yet, they are not merely contemporary subjects.
