ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the author's assertion that people are nourished both physically and emotionally by different foods at specific times of year. The author recalls a childhood task in which he would buy freshly-baked bread every Saturday mornings in Thames in London, England. According to the author, childhood eating habits are encoded like DNA in the culinary memory of every individual.
