ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the need to change the process of communication to improve the performance of companies in the U.S. The improvement would mean changing the behavior of how the workers communicate. To take effect of the availability of the presence information certain guidelines or session initiation protocol based technology must be established. It may requires sharing the presence information to anyone in the organizations regardless of the position or information starting from the executive level down to the employees and lastly, an open door policy of information.
