EMEA Now The Leading PC Market

The article reports on the ranking of the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region in the personal computer (PC) market. The figures from Gartner reveals that EMEA region will replace the U.S. in becoming the worlds largest PC market. The value of the shipments of the EMEA region amounted to 72.6 million dollars compared to Asia pacific region with 42.7 dollars and 14.71 million dollars for the Latin America region. According to Gartner vice president Charles Smulders, the developing regions had steady desk-based PC growth compare to the weak growth in PC market.
