ABSTRACT
The article discusses the events during the 30th Annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference in Albany, Georgia. Bob Redding of the Georgia Peanut Commission (GPC) Washington, discussed issues concerning budget reconciliation, disaster legislation and the farm bill. GPC presented awards to John Baldwin, Marshall Lamb, the Peanut Institute and the Sylvester Local News. The show offered farmers to view the products and services of more than 60 exhibitors.
