The article describes fire pumps, fire engines and other fire equipment acquired by several fire departments in the United States in 2006. The Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Texas has acquired a Pierce Dash aerial platform. The Seattle Fire Department has acquired a mobile ventilation unit from Tempest Technology. The York County Fire Department has acquired a pumper from Rosenbauer.
