ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the growth of the real estate-related capital markets in the U.S. in 2005. Almost three billion dollars worth of private real estate deals were completed during the period. Private placement investors are slow in accepting real estate offerings and they are reluctant to support new types of transactions right off the bat.
