The article focuses on the preparations made by Fiserv to implement Check 21 legislation. Fiserv has been a part of developing check image exchange since its inception 20 years back. A national image archive was established by Fiserv a few years ago. It also actively participated with the Federal Reserve for testing actual image exchange. Fiserv claims that it can deal with the entire check-processing needs of any institution through its network of 48 processing centers. It can also act as a valued connection for financial institutions intending to operate their own image archive in-house.
