ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Metals Activity Report from the Metals Service Center Institute, which compares supplies of steel and aluminum products at service centers in Canada and the U.S. in December 2005. It reveals that steel product inventories at Canadian service centers totaled 984,900 tons at the end of December. Meanwhile, U.S. service center shipments of aluminum products rose by 6.5 percent for all of 2005.
