The article features Certified Steel Co., a Lawrenceville, New Jersey-based service center founded by Sydney Sussman. It has 120 employees selling 120,000 tons of steel per year. Products include sheet and coil, hot-rolled plate, angles, beams, channels, flat bar, tees, wire mesh and pipe. The company operates a Herr-Voss line that handles coils up to one-half inch thick and a B&K line for lighter-gague material. Currently, it maintains sales offices in northern New Jersey and on Long Island, New York.
