ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to information technology use in hospitals. GE Healthcare has signed an agreement with MobileAccess Networks to create the GE Enterprise Access solution. The product is designed to allow hospitals to roll out all wireless services on a common infrastructure. A study states that health care providers in North America will spend billions on information technology by 2008.
