ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Matt Lewis, executive vice president and general manager of CheckFree Corp. The trend in using bank's online bill pay sites was discussed. He was asked about the bill-pay segmentation that starts to draw interest from banks. He addressed issues concerning improved retention of banks' retail customer base, improved cross sale of banks' additional retail products, and improved average deposit balance.
