ABSTRACT
The article points out that the closure of one-time kitchen linen category giants Barth and Dreyfuss and Cecil Saydah in 2004, resulted in business opportunities which kitchen textiles providers competed for in 2005. This was evident in the product offerings from Town and Country, Elrene Home Fashions, and Avonhome. Town and Country, the top table linens provider, was the top kitchen textiles company in 2005, for the second year.
