ABSTRACT
This article reports on three initiatives on immigration coming before the U.S. Senate Judiciary and Foreign Relations committees. One initiative is the so-called Sensenbrenner bill, which has already passed by the House of Representatives. The legislation seeks to build over 1,000 kilometers of fences and walls along the U.S.-Mexican border.
