ABSTRACT
The article describes several tourist attractions in Madison, Indiana. The city is a community of visual contrast. Downtown area is full of historic houses, antique shops, candy stores, coffee shops and is nationally recognized for historic preservation. The city has a strong manufacturing base which is the main driver of the economy. Automobile parts maker Arvin Sango Inc. is the leading Madison's industry pack with nearly 750 employees. Several tourists go to Madison because of its river walk and a line-up of local events.The community's strengths include hard-working residents, a stable workforce and a local government supportive business.
