ABSTRACT
The article presents tips to improve customer service and increase sales of grocer operators. The following could help add up to healthier consumers as well as more robust bottom lines: (1.) act on what is promised to the consumers; (2.) improve advertising; (3.) learn more about customers and their preferences; (4.) test every cow before its meat enters the food supply; (5.) eliminate a product for every new products; and (6.) understand and embrace technological innovations.
