ABSTRACT
The article reports that the bill to reform the New Mexico State Treasurer's Office was withdrawn by its sponsor after the senators cut down the measure. The Senate Bill 722's legal authority has been removed with the vote of 23 to 16. The significance of the bill on the New Mexico Board of Finance has been emphasized. Senator Gerald Ortiz y Pino stated his reason why he withdraw his bill.
