ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the latest business developments in the field of retail trade in the U.S. Wesco on the Go, a self-distributed operator of over 50 convenience stores, selected Retalix's DemandAnalytx forecasting and replenishment solution for a company-wide implementation. It enables retailers, manufacturers and distributors to improve product availability. Wawa Inc. has installed more than 2,000 of Hypercom Corp.'s Optimum L4100 high-speed card payment terminals at its 540 retail stores. Pay By Touch and NCR Corp. are forming an alliance joining both companies' hardware and software solutions to offer merchants around the world a single point of contact for supporting their entire merchant and consumer biometric needs.
