ABSTRACT
The article presents information on several business developments in the United States. Dallas-based Alon USA and El Paso, Texas-based Petro Stopping Centers will form a joint venture for constructing and operating a new signature Petro Stopping Center in Midland, Texas. Kwik Trip Inc., is planning to build a $14 million commissary in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The new commissary will allow the company to make all of its food service items rather than buying them from other sources. 7-Eleven Inc., has launched, Pick Smart, a selection of sandwiches, grilled items and packaged baked goods, with lower fat and calorie content provides consumers with a new array of healthier fresh food offerings.
