ABSTRACT
The article reports that Maryland lawmakers have lined up to pass a legislation forcing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to allocate more funds on the health care of its employees in the U.S. This action was driven by the idea that numerous Wal-Mart employees have children enrolled in the state's Medicaid program. As expected, labor unions are supporting every legislation forcing employers to provide health insurance.
