ABSTRACT
The article presents information on reports from the Copper and Brass Servicenter Association regarding service centers' average daily shipping rate in November 2005. It is reported that for most of the year, service centers' shipments of red metals were far low than those recorded in 2004. However, total shipments were off 2.9 percent, although the average daily shipping rate were registered a gain of 2.0 percent. The automotive industry is found to be the only sector where a decrease in shipments was predicted.
