ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to the U.S. International Trade Commission. The commission gave its verdict in favor of the importers in the initial injury stage of the antidumping cases filed against China, Germany and Turkey on imported carbon and certain alloy wire rods. The commission found no significant indication that imports of wire rod are causing material injury to the domestic rod industry. It is reported that carbon steel wire rods are used in manufacturing of wire and wire products like coat hangers, fasteners, wire mesh, tire cord, to name only a few.
