ABSTRACT
This article focuses on a 35-ton capacity overhead crane offered by Morris Material Handling Inc., of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The crane is used for heavy-duty coil-handling services. The crane includes features like two hoists and a 10-ton auxiliary hoist, each with an 80-foot span. An electronic weigh system, Smartorque Crane Control has also been offered by the crane. Optional features include coil grabs for handling steel coils, steel sheet lifters and power rotating bottom blocks. The company also offers crane and hoist safety, maintenance and operator training.
