ABSTRACT
This article reports on the decision of Moon Township, Pennsylvania-based Centria Coating Services to start the second phase of the upgrade to its Ambridge, Pennsylvania coil coating operation. Centria's upgradation plan includes drives, motors, PLCs, hydraulics and accumulator towers, and installation of new coater heads. Jim Dockey, director of sales and marketing for the company, said that the completion of the second phase of the Ambridge improvements will enhance the company's ability to meet its customers' requirements and increase its overall capacity.
