ABSTRACT
The article reports that more than 3,000 people who bought estate planning help from Sharp Estate Services of Cleveland, Ohio, will be receiving a letter containing an unsettling message from the Cleveland Bar Association. After the Cleveland Bar brought a complaint against Sharp Estate three years ago, the Ohio Supreme Court in December levied a $1 million fine against Sharp for unauthorized practice of law. The firm also is prohibited from marketing or selling living trust and other services in the state.
