ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to the baseball team Detroit Tigers. Kenny Rogers brings a level of experience and consistency that none of his new rotation mates has. His ability to keep hitters off-balance and adjust to his ballpark will be valued in Detroit. The failure to trade either Carlos Pena or Dmitri Young puts the team in a pinch heading into the season. They addressed their two main pitching needs by adding a rotation anchor in Rogers and a closer in Todd Jones.
