ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to the baseball team Seattle Mariners. Kenji Johjima will provide a solid bat and a good glove, but the most important quality he can bring is an everyday presence behind the plate by developing a strong relationship with the staff and learning the pitchers' tendencies. Jarrod Washburn isn't bad, but he isn't an ace. He pitches to contact and has had health issues the past three years.
