ABSTRACT
The article provides information about the bond buyer legislative status in the U.S. The President's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform, which released its recommendations, has proposed repealing both the individual and corporate alternative minimum tax. Legislation was introduced in the 108th Congress that would give all tribal bonds the same tax-exempt status as those issued by state and local governments and allow them to issue private-activity bonds exempt from the volume cap.
