The article profiles professional woodworker Ken Nelsen. Nelsen's woodworking passion was caught by a laser engraving wood shown in an exhibit in Anaheim, California in 1993. According to the author, Nelsen appreciates all types of wood that could be used in decorative projects, the exotic woods' densities and how these woods could be laser processed.
