ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase in passenger volume in 2005 in the two major airports operated by the Los Angeles World Airports in California. The Los Angeles International Airport has registered an increase of 1.3 percent in passenger volume in 2005 while the Ontario International Airport gain 4 percent for the period. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa expresses his desire to see the Los Angeles International Airport become a premier international gateway.
