ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of the Chicago Board of Trade to de-list its municipal bond futures contract. It will put an end to the first hedging tool directly related to the tax-exempt bond market in the United States. It has given rise to the speculative trade known as MOB. It is where traders would bet on the spread between the municipal and Treasury bond futures contracts.
