ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performance of the United States ten-year municipal bonds in the beginning of 2006. According to financial analysts, the bonds outperformed their taxable counterparts because of low supply and seasonal investment demand. They also see relative value opportunities on the long end of the municipal bond market.
