ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Chicago Fe National Activity Index for December 2005. The positive reading indicates national economic growth was above the historical trend. The overall index declined due to a drop-off in the positive contribution of production-related indicators in the United States. The reading for December 2005 was 0.08.
