Treasury Strips Increased By $2.31 Billion in January

The article reports on the increase in newly issued Treasury securities in the U.S. The Bureau of the Public Debt reported a 2.31 billion dollar-increase in securities in January 2006. The increase led to a total of 182.9 billion dollars. Other securities for stripping totaled 3.186 trillion dollars while unstripped securities amounted to 3 trillion dollars.
