The article reports that the New York City-based Rocket Racing League will relocate to the Las Cruces Airport in New Mexico in 2007. The league operates high-altitude races between rocket-powered planes. New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is requesting the state Legislature to finance part of the proposed spaceport for the league through severance tax bonds.
