The article reports on the establishment of a UK Green Building Council by sustainability experts to help reduce the environmental impact of buildings in Great Britain. The proposal comes in response to a recommendation by the Sustainable Building Task Group. The council will work with the government in reducing carbon emissions and the environmental impact of buildings.
