The article presents information related to the SCE Federal Credit Union. The union has installed a new web-enabled storage, called Internet protocol storage area network (IP SAN) to store information about its members. The union is reported to have 42,000 members and 550 million dollars in total assets. IP SAN solution is very cheap, thus it allows to leverage the performance benefits of disk-based backup at half the price. It is reported that the credit union is growing and at the same time it is also embracing imaging technology.
