ABSTRACT
This article reports that the Great Britain Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has been heavily criticized following its announcement that it would take at least six more months to review its decision regarding the dominance of supermarket chains in the grocery industry. The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has asked the OFT to speed up its investigation. The firm Edwin Coe's head of litigation David Greene, who is representing the 32,000 shopkeepers from the ACS, said that the investigation is taking a long time. He said that the OFT appears to be seeking information from the ACS regarding its investigation.
