ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the team management plan of the baseball team Anaheim Angels. General manager Bill Stoneman's plan reflects a time-honored baseball philosophy of showing patience. The Angels' farm system is perhaps the best in baseball. But Stoneman has played it too safe for 2006, making only three low-impact moves trading for infielder Edgardo Alfonzo and lefthanded reliever J.C. Romero and signing free-agent righthander Hector Carrasco.
