The article reports on the schedule of performances by the Philharmonic Orchestra for the 1973-1974 season. Native contemporary music include: Peter Mennin's Eighth Symphony; Jacob Druckman's "Windows"; revivals of Aaron Copland's "Connotations"; and the Concertos for Orchestra by Elliott Carter and by Gunther Schuller. Contemporary European music include: Alexander Goehr's "Pastorals"; Bernd Alois Zimmermann's "Photoptosis"; and Aribert Reimann's "Zyklus."
