The article features the E-mu Systems Inc.'s Emulator X desktop system, a monster sampling synth with functional depth. E-mu implemented the idea of user settings for every module. The Emulator X modulation matrix is powerful with lots of real time and automated controllers. The system includes an onboard recorder module with some relevant sampler functions.
