ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the natural sound of the motion picture "The New World." Director Terrence Malick was really keen on having the sound be a physical part of the movie. Sound engineers are allowed to make elements sound authentic to a place. Malick wanted to treat backgrounds like they were the music of nature.
